Textile Design for Prints

Mythical Ambiance

During this time I was very fond of statue art and how they were able to capture a moment and freeze it to last an eternity. Mythical Ambiance was my first collection inspired by the quiet and calm feelings presented through the images below.

Color Palette

Since this project was created to be printed, I was able to have a larger color board compared to other projects. I wanted to keep a nice balance of neutral and earthy tones while also throwing in a few bold colors to help put emphasis on minor details in my designs.

Object Drawings

Using Adobe Illustrator I drew out these objects from pictures used in my concept board which are compiled together to create different motifs used in the repeat patterns shown below.
